Local Arts Agencies
The Division collaborates with the City’s Cultural Advisory Board and Public Art Committee to advance the Cultural Master Plan, oversee Festivals + Events, and support other city initiatives, while also implementing the City’s Sustainability Roadmap to promote economic, social, and environmental well-being.
The Climate Art program enlist San José’s artists, creative producers, and cultural institutions as active and effective agents in meeting the city’s ambitious climate goals.
Public Art Project Initiative
In response to today’s unprecedented environmental challenges, the Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County (AHCMC) and the Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) are sponsoring three local artists to create public art that encourages green behavior in Montgomery County.
